While I don’t mind watching NASCAR racing, especially since Aussie V8 Supercar Champ Marcos Ambrose is over in the US and doing very well, I get why people think it is boring! Especially oval racing. So I loved this clip by the guys at ‘The Onion’ taking the piss out of it.

Michael Jordan is one of my favourite athletes of all time. Here’s is a great selection of his best dunks, the only additions I would make are a few from slam dunk competitions – this was obviously just those from NBA games!

Top Thrill Dragster – One of my Top Roller Coasters!

I love roller coasters and my last few trips to the USA with my wife (including out honeymoon!) have been Theme Park Tours of the USA (and polar bears!). Cedar Point is our favourite theme park by far, not easy to get to in Ohio but well worth it.

Top Thrill Dragster would definitely be in my Top Three rides. 0-120mph in under four seconds and a climb to over 400 feet in less than 2 seconds – see why!

Even though Kinda Ka in New Jersey may beat it by a few miles per hour in speed, and a few feet in height, the theming is much, much better – Dragster rocks!

Virtual Aerobatic Team – Cool in a nerdy way!

I love flying and would kill to do this for real – until then maybe I could be a virtual aerobatic pilot?

And the real thing, the most fun you could have with your clothes on. I just saw James May (from Top Gear) say that flying in the Eurofighter was the most amazing expereince of his life. Formula 1 drivers are also blown away when I’ve seen them get taken up as part of a Grand Prix weekend.

These people are the top of the food chain in my wordl!

If you aren’t using the automated tools Social Submitter or Bookmarking Demon that Perry mentioned in the training click on the name of each product to learn a little more about them!

If you don’t know what PageRank (PR) is, here is what Wikipedia defines it as “a numerical weighting … with the purpose of “measuring” its relative importance”. In other words, the higher the better! Here are the top ranking sites according to social submitter and their associated ranks!

Rock Band Lego and Rock Band Beatles Coming 2009!

More songs, more modifications and tons more fun!

The Lego theme looks great, but I know when I play I don’t see anything in the background, nor does anyone else with two or three players on the screen!

Can’t wait for November 30 to play You Give Love a Bad Name by Bon Jovi and The Final Countdown by Europe!

Rock Band Beatles comes out Sept 9 and should be fun trying to sing and play. I’ve tried it a few times on Rockband II and can only be done if I know the words off by heart – and not done well!

I’m not a big Beatles fan, should be able to get the oldies involved at Christmas time though! Might be a few hours of fun, I’m sure I’ll get it!

Guitar Hero 5 – Coming Soon

While I prefer Rockband II to Guitar Hero any day, they are making a few more advances to come a little closer to Rockband.

The lack of ‘Neverfail’ option is the biggest drawback – plus I think interface, especially for singing, in Rockband II is far superior. The ability to have all of my songs without swapping discs is also genius (although this won’t be available on Rockband Beatles).

Either way, I am looking forward to a bunch of songs that make the $90 Aussie investment worthwhile in this still second-rate game – Kryptonite 3 – Doors Down, Lithium – Nirvana, Only Happy When It Rains – Garbage, Smells Like Teen Spirit – Nirvana, Song 2 – Blur, Sultans of Swing – Dire Straits, You Give Love a Bad Name – Bon Jovi and Under Pressure – Queen + David Bowie.

Hi and Welcome to my Personal Blog. I am 36 years old and live in Sydney Australia. I work as an Exercise Physiologist, Sports Dietitian and do some personal training on the side.

I am currently completing Perry Belcher’s Social Media Mastery course and thus have started my own personal blog based on his recommendations.

I currently have a number of other blogs (sorry Perry, I started them before listening to your course).

The first is for one of my favourite TV celebrities and host of one of my favourite TV shows – Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares – master Chef Gordon Ramsay. My wife loves Polar Bears and our wedding date was set around us going to see them in the wild in Canada. I have started a blog for her, which on our last trip to the USA got us ‘behind the scenes’ at a few zoos (we went to eight in three weeks) as we did research for the site.
